SUMMARY:Alumni All Access: Peabody Park Ivy Pull
DESCRIPTION:Join students and fellow alumni on November 14 at 12pm for a hands-on service project in one of UNCG’s most beloved natural spaces—Peabody Park! \n\n\n\nLed by Associate Professor of Biology Kevin Wilcox\, we will begin with a short talk on the importance of ecological restoration and the benefits of removing invasive species like English ivy. Then\, roll up your sleeves to help preserve the park’s native landscape through an ivy pull alongside fellow Spartans. Afterward\, enjoy light refreshments and conversation as we celebrate our collective impact on campus sustainability. \n\n\n\nPlease use the link below to RSVP so we know to expect you. \n\n\n\nClick here to register for this event.
