The WVHP is the preeminent research archives of the history of women who have served since World War I in the U.S. military and the American Red Cross. With holdings from over 750 women veterans\, the WVHP preserves and makes accessible oral histories\, uniforms\, photographs\, posters\, recruiting materials\, newsletters\, scrapbooks\, artifacts\, diaries and more!  \n\n\n\nBeth Ann Koelsch has been the curator of the WVHP since 2008. She previously worked as a project archivist at the Sallie Bingham Center for Women’s History and Culture at Duke University\, Durham\, NC. Ali is a historian and ethnographer of Africa and the global African Diaspora. He received his Ph.D. in History from Columbia University and is the author of over half a dozen books.
