Alumni Leadership Board Nomination Form
Working together with the Office of Alumni Engagement, the Alumni Leadership Board (ALB) serves in an advisory capacity to assist in developing strategic goals, initiatives, and comprehensive objectives to engage all UNCG alumni in the life of their alma mater.
The Awards and Nominations Committee invites you to identify alumni who would be great candidates to serve on and contribute towards the vision of the Alumni Leadership Board.
The expectations for Alumni Leadership Board members are outlined below. Please consider these attributes along with unique skill sets, community involvement, and leadership qualities when submitting your recommendation.
To submit your nomination, all information must be uploaded below. All contact and biographical information must be submitted at the time of the nomination.
Self-nominations are not accepted.
The nomination deadline for the 2024-25 year is April 1st, 2024.
Board member criteria
- Attendance: Commitment of 5-10 hours a month to include board meetings, attendance at special events, and committee work.
- Confidentiality: Maintain the confidential nature of board deliberations and decisions.
- Advocacy: Be an effective ambassador for both UNCG and the UNC system.
- Financial: Contribute to the University with a minimum pledge each fiscal year.
