Frequently Asked Questions
Our pre-registration online window has closed, but don’t worry! We will still happily accept walk-up registration at our Alumni Check-In Tents during the Spartan Street Fest on Saturday. You can find the location of those tents on the map above. Friday evening events such as the Bonfire and Alumni Awards Reception do not require registration.
We’ve moved Homecoming this year due to the ongoing construction on Kaplan Commons. Read more about the construction happening on campus here.
The College Ave Spartan Street Fest will happen rain or shine! Keep an eye on the weather and dress appropriately — and keep your fingers crossed for good weather!
Yes! Reunion registrations are held separate from Homecoming registration. If you’d like the chance to receive a souvenir shirt, you’ll need to register for Homecoming and check-in at the tents near the entrance of the Alumni House. This is a new process in 2024, so please be patient with us. T-shirts are on a first come, first served basis while supplies last. Unfortunately, if you are unable to attend, we will not be able to mail your shirt.
Be sure to explore the schedule here and click on any of the programs that look interesting for additional information. We’re using Sched to display and organize the schedule this year, which is available as a mobile app download.
- Parking decks around campus will be open and free of charge from 5 pm on Friday, October 4 through 8 am on Monday, October 7.
- For more information on parking and transportation, visit https://www.uncg.edu/campus-life-resources/student-community-resources/parking-transportation/.
- Download/view a map of UNCG’s parking decks here.
- Spartan Chariots, our campus shuttles, will also be running throughout the weekend.
- You can track the shuttle on the following site https://passiogo.com/. You can also download the app on Google Play or Apple Store.
- For directions to campus, click here.
When you arrive to the Spartan Street Fest on Saturday, you’lll see check-in tents at the Alumni House end of College Avenue — near the big Spiro inflatable! We’re asking all alumni, friends, and guests to check in first before enjoying the day’s festitivies.
- If you were one of our first 1,000 Homecoming registrants, you will pick up your t-shirt at the Spartan Street Fest check-in tent. This will be located at the Alumni House entrance of College Avenue, near the big Spiro helmet — you can’t miss it!
- If you were not able to be one of our first 1,000 registrants, you will still be automatically entered into a drawing for a t-shirt at Homecoming.
- All attendees must pick up their t-shirts in-person by 6:30pm on Saturday at the Spartan Street Fest. Unfortunately, we will not be able to mail out any t-shirts directly.
Saturday’s Spartan Street Fest is casual – we encourage wearing your Blue and Gold! The rest of the weekend’s attire depends on the events you’ll be attending. And be sure to be prepared for any weather that might come our way.
- Hungry? There are plenty of options for sale. Fountain View at Moran Commons will be open and ready to serve you ($9.75 per person — all you can eat!). There will also be a variety of food trucks to choose from if the cafeteria isn’t your style (full list of food trucks coming soon!).
- Thirsty? In addition to the multiple water stations around campus, we’re hosting a Beer Garden – with a twist! Drinks will be served from a retro tap truck. Be sure to have your ID ready.
