Donate your Time & Expertise to UNCG

There are so many ways you can give back to UNCG that go beyond a financial contribution. Volunteering is one of the best ways to stay connected to UNCG and make a lasting impact on your University, its students, and community. And volunteering isn’t a one-size-fits-all opportunity, either. Listed below are just a few highlights of our volunteer options:

• Refer a Spartan: Help recruit the next generation of Spartans to UNCG
• Spartan Scribes: A correspondence committee that sends handwritten notes to students and alumni (see here for an example of their work)
• Social Media Ambassador: Help amplify all the great alumni events, initiatives, and news on your favorite social media network(s)
• Event Volunteer: Help support various events by serving as a host (financial investment), a speaker, and/or a general volunteer
• Regional, Affinity, and Identity Networks: Support events and initiatives for various UNCG constituencies (e.g. Charlotte alumni, LGBTQ+ alumni, Military-Veteran alumni)
• Minerva’s Mentors: Serve as a mentor to current UNCG students
