Pearls of Promise

Make a gift and receive a commemorative lapel pin

In honor of Nu Rho’s 35th anniversary in 2016, 62 alumnae-sisters established the Alpha Kappa Alpha Scholarship Endowment. Named “Pearls of Promise” to represent AKA’s 20 pearls, the scholarship endowment provides a legacy to recognize and encourage values-based leadership in future generations of Sisters, as well as a permanent resource and ongoing philanthropic opportunity for AKA alumnae to express gratitude for what the Sisterhood has meant in their lives at UNCG and beyond. Those who make a gift of $145 or more will receive a commemorative lapel pin to wear at Homecoming. To learn more and make your gift, click below.
